It seems that as someone comes down from their gluten-high, their body must take time to heal years of somehow unperceived damage. During this time, the digestive tract is so sensitive that previously innocuous food items can trigger symptoms similar or identical to those caused by ingesting gluten.
Seriously. WTF?!
I am now just sort of allergic-ish to a whole slew of foods. I don't know what I can eat! I'm going to take the plunge and get rid of all dairy, gluten, soy, and peanuts, then slowly reintroduce dairy and peanuts. Soy, actually, is already gone. My body doesn't seem to know what to do with it.
This is, of course, going to have to wait until after this weekend, so I can eat the gluten-free cheesecake my mom made for the two of us.
I have been looking for an excuse to try coconut milk ice cream.

Live and learn.
I have discovered two things this week:
1) There is gluten in a lot of baking powders. lame. I can't seem to make it more than a week without accidentally eating something with gluten in it. The continued validation is sometimes nice, but sometimes makes me feel like I'm crazy. Still, at least now I know to go for GF baking powders.
2) There is a MOON SALUTATION! Fucking SWEET!

Breaking the Ice
So this is my first post into a blog of any kind. I guess I felt like I should write something here on the first day of its existence. I recently found out that I cannot digest gluten. Looking back I think it started years ago, and I have to say that I can't believe I never noticed how shitty I felt. Many of you can probably identify with that. The yoga part? I love yoga. I'm bad at it, but I love it.
